BPS Lombok Utara concluded its June 2026 activities with various strategic achievements

Lombok Utara Regency – The Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Lombok Utara Regency concluded its series of activities throughout June 2026 with various strategic agendas to support the provision of quality statistical data. Throughout the month, BPS of Lombok Utara Regency continued to demonstrate its commitment to monitoring the social and economic dynamics of the community through various statistical activities, coaching, and coordination with stakeholders.

One of the main agenda items in June 2026 was the preparation and initial implementation of the 2026 Economic Census. This activity began with the 2026 Economic Census Officer Training to improve the competency of field officers in conducting data collection according to established methodologies. Subsequently, BPS of Lombok Utara Regency launched the 2026 Economic Census as a joint commitment of the local government and all stakeholders to support the successful implementation of the census.

The implementation of the 2026 Economic Census was also marked by the Initial Data Collection activity, which symbolized the start of business data collection in Lombok Utara Regency. In addition, the Lombok Utara Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) held a coordination meeting for 2026 Economic Census officers in Pemenang, Gangga, Tanjung, Kayangan, and Bayan Districts to ensure effective, coordinated data collection and adherence to established operational standards.

In the area of ​​statistical development, the Lombok Utara Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) implemented Phase II of the Desa Cantik (Desa Cinta Statistik) Development Program to improve the capacity of village officials in statistical data management. Furthermore, Phase III of Sectoral Statistics Development was also implemented to strengthen sectoral statistical governance and encourage the use of quality data in regional development planning and evaluation processes.

To support the development of economic indicators, the Lombok Utara Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) also regularly conducts the Rural Producer Price Survey and the Rural Consumer Price Survey. Both surveys are part of the effort to provide accurate price data as input for the development of various economic statistical indicators.

That same month, the Lombok Utara Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) received an award from the Mataram KPPN (State Treasury Office) as a token of appreciation for its performance and commitment to implementing good financial governance.
